Biography
Wael Salame is an Assistant Professor at the Lebanese American University- School of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon and a part-time instructor at the university medical center. He is actively invovled in teaching activities related to the preclinical and clinical years of psychiatry, is currently invovled in the implementation of teaching and assessment strategies related to simulation-based education. He completed his degree in Adult Psychiatry in June 2018 and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Clinical Education at the University of Edinburgh, UK. He takes special interest in issues related to borderline persoanlity disorder, somatization disorders and the physical manifestations of psychiatric conditions. He has also been a firm advocate of the role of non-invasive neuromodulation in the treatment of such conditions.
